Mackay Toyota Appoints New Dealer Principal
Leading multi-franchise dealership, Autocorner is pleased to announce their new Dealer Principal, Georgia Thomson. The first female Dealer Principal for Autocorner is very excited to be joining such a strong community based company in Mackay.
Georgia, who is a member of the Sci-Fleet family, relocated to Mackay 12 months ago with husband James, who will also be part of the key management team at Autocorner.
Mrs Thomson has spent the past year transitioning into the role at Autocorner, majority owned by Sci-fleet Motors, following the recent retirement of one of Autocorner’s longest-serving and most respected company directors, John Glanville.
Mrs Thomson said she was thrilled with her appointment at Autocorner and was proud to be working with a team of talented and motivated individuals.
We credit John & Gail (Glanville) for making the company what it is today and for welcoming James & I to life in Mackay. We wish them the happiest retirement.
I am honoured to be stepping into this new position to ensure the future growth and success of Autocorner and am excited by the prospect of leading a company that is actively increasing its business and community presence. Autocorner is strongly focused on giving back to the community and this is one aspect I wish to cultivate in the coming years.

With a strong focus on the Mackay community a top priority for Georgia, Autocorner is already actively involved in supporting The Flagon and Dragon Fundraiser, Mackay Cutters, Mackay Off Road Challenge and Nebo Rodeo for 2015 as a start to their ongoing commitment to other local businesses, events and community groups this year.
Mrs Thomson said she was looking forward to the year ahead and to making positive changes to the business that would strengthen Autocorner’s position as the number one car dealership in Mackay.
